Description and characteristics of the Pixie-bob
The main characteristic of the Pixie-bob is that it looks a lot like the lynx. It gets its resemblance from its ancestors, domestic cats themselves with the appearance close to this feline. It is a fairly large cat, with a muscular body and powerful legs, whose ears are relatively large, broad at the base, and well erect on its head. Like the lynx, the Pixie-bob has small feathers at their tips. Its feet are particularly large with very thick toes. Despite this, it is a very agile and skillful cat.
His head has very full eyebrows. The muzzle of the Pixie-bob is also very hairy: it is covered with bushy fur. Its eyes, which can be golden, hazelnut or green, are triangular in shape and its eyelids are slightly drooping. The tail of the Pixie-bob is quite short.
There are two varieties of Pixie-bob: one with short hair, soft and woolly to the touch, and one with long hair with fur that is also soft but closer to the body. Both are only one color, brown spotted tabby, i.e. with stripes or spots like the coat of the lynx. The dress of the Pixie-bob has the particularity to change according to the seasons. In summer, his fur is shorter, letting his spots or stripes appear. In winter, its hair becomes denser.
Like the lynx, the Pixie-bob has a swaying gait, typical of felines.
