The Asian
belongs to the semi-foreign type of cats, that is to say that it has a
rectangular body, a solid bone structure, a medium-length tail and oval paws in
particular. It is a medium sized cat with strong muscles and an athletic body.
His head is in the shape of a triangle with fairly developed cheekbones and a
slightly rounded muzzle. The eyes of the Asian are large and a little curved on
top. They are yellow to green, and even gold in some specimens. They also have
the particularity of being very sensitive to light. The ears of the Asian are
relatively large compared to its size and they are placed quite far apart on its
skull.
The coat of
the Asian has practically no undercoat. Its fur is short, fine and shiny like
silk. It is a very elegant cat that can be of all colors. There are several
varieties of Asian: the "self" whose coat is unicolor, the
"tabby" with a speckled coat and the "smoke" whose
undercoat is light and the top is dark.
